Mori no Auberge Mitsu is a three-room inn in the forest of Atsuma, Hokkaido, and only three groups stay each night.
The figures below are a guide. Rates move with the room and the season, so the booking site is always the accurate source.
A stay here is built around two things: the dinner, which is a Japanese creative course made from what Atsuma sends the kitchen that week, and the room, each of which has its own bath. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is at 10:00, so there is a full evening in between. What follows sets out what the rate covers, how payment works, and the plans that sit outside an ordinary overnight stay.

Other Plans
There is a dinner-only plan for guests who are not staying the night, taken by one group per evening, from around ¥12,000. A lunch service is planned from September 2026, from around ¥3,000. Both are guide figures; final rates and availability are shown on the booking site. You can read more about the food on our dining page.
Dinner service begins at 18:00, with the last check-in for dinner at 19:00, and breakfast is from 8:30. Closing days vary through the year rather than falling on a fixed weekday, so the calendar on the booking site is the only reliable way to see when we are open. Cancellations are charged at 100% on the day, 80% one day before and 50% three days before; four days or more ahead there is no charge. Because ingredients are bought in for the number of guests booked, an early message helps a great deal if plans change.

Yes, except on room-only plans. Dinner is the Japanese creative omakase course, and breakfast is included with your stay.
How can I pay?
Cashless only. Credit cards, electronic money and QR code payments are accepted. We cannot accept cash.
Is there a hot spring?
No. Every room has its own goemon-style soaking tub in Shigaraki ceramic ware, and the water is heated. It is not a natural hot spring, and there is no shared large bath.
